ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Lobos host Colorado State on Friday night at 6:02 p.m. Colorado State leads the all-time series 41-25, and the Lobos are looking to end a nine-game losing streak to the Rams, having last won in 2009 on a walk-off field goal 29-27. The game will officially kickoff at 6:02 p.m. Below are all the important links to let you enjoy the game, whether you are making the trip to Dreamstyle Stadium, following along on social media, watching on CBS Sports Network or listening to Robert Portnoy.
BUYING TICKETS & COMING TO THE GAME
Information on purchasing tickets can be found at www.golobos.com/tickets, and buy tickets to this game, click here.
On Friday, the Ticket Office will open during regular business hours starting at 8:30, and straight through until the game. Fans wanting to purchase tickets on Friday for the Lobo football game with Colorado State can do so at the Ticket Office in Dreamstyle Arena, or at Dreamstyle Stadium’s Northeast Ticket Offices starting at 4 p.m. Fans getting tickets closer to game time should use the Northwest Corner ticket booths, as there are more windows, which means shorter lines, but this year fans should really get their tickets online to get our online discount! Fans can buy online and then have their tickets sent to their phones and just scan it in.
Fans should know so far this year, more than 50% of the fans that entered the stadium did so in the Northwest entrance. Fans can avoid lines by going to the Northeast entrance, Gate 3, or the Southwest entrance.
Check out our Game Day Central page with plenty of links to maps and policies, including what you can and cannot do or bring to the stadium, including our bag check policies (we will not be using scanners, but will check bags). All of that is located on our Game Day Central page.
In addition, here is the complete stadium map with shows were many of the new amenities are located.
Once again beer and wine will be available throughout the stadium. Click here to read up on UNM’s policies for the purchase of beer and wine.
PROMOTIONS
- Educator’s Night (Extra Yard for Teachers)
Our educators take center stage for this Friday night battle with the Rams of Colorado State. All educators have a chance to purchase discount tickets. Additionally, teachers and schools can apply for a chance to win grants for their schools and be recognized on the field (Note, we are all set and thanks to all that nominated teachers!!!). It should make for a great Friday night nationally televised game as we celebrate New Mexico’s educators!
We want to give a special thank you to all of our teachers and educators. This Friday, we will be celebrating all of your hard work. We look forward to seeing you there!

THE ALL NEW HOWL ZONE (IT’S FREE!!!!)
The Howl Zone opens at noon in the north end of the West lot. We learned that many fans didn’t know that it’s free to enter the Howl Zone … so yeah, it’s free. Many Lobo fans want that tailgating experience, without having to schlep coolers and grills and all that can entail, especially on a Friday night … and that’s why we have the Howl Zone! It’s a great place to tailgate with others without the hassle, and it makes tailgating a community experience.
This Friday’s featured musical act is Hicks and Fowler, local Albuquerque band that is very popular in the ABQ music scene. The four-piece can play funk, indie and alternative, and they’ve been known to drop in a little “Easy Like Sunday Morning” on occasion as well. It’s the perfect soundtrack to a great day of tailgating in the Howl Zone.
The FUDDRUCKERS, World’s greatest hamburgers food truck will be in the Howl Zone, along with ALBERTSONS letting our fans tailgate without have to bring their own food!
Our on-site brewery is the RIO BRAVO BREWING COMPANY, and their portable brewery/patio seating also provides the perfect backdrop for the launch of UNM’s newest beer, Lobo Louie IPA.
LOBO WALK
Come fill the hill leading down to the South Entrance (near the Maloof Administration Building) at 4:15 pm as your Lobo Football team enters Dreamstyle Stadium.
The player pass list will be located at Gates 4 & 7.
We will be geared up for our nationally televised game on @CBSSportsNet against Colorado State on Friday night, going white/cherry/white! #GoLobos @UniWatch @UNISWAG pic.twitter.com/06a0FbrnFG
