ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team is set to continue Mountain West play on the road at San Diego State on Tuesday at 8 p.m. PT (9 p.m. MT) on CBS Sports Network.

The Lobos (8-8, 2-2 MW) are on a two-game skid after kicking off Mountain West play 2-0 and look to get back on track against the Aztecs (9-7, 1-2 MW) Tuesday night. SDSU enters Tuesday’s contest coming off of a loss at Air Force on Saturday.

Last time the Lobos and the Aztecs met was on March 10, 2018 in the Mountain West Championship. UNM fell by just seven points in the final six minutes to the No. 5 seed as the No. 3 seed, ending its historic run and exciting seven-win streak to close the season.

The Lobos continue to be led by senior Anthony Mathis (15.9 ppg) and redshirt-sophomore Vance Jackson (12.4). Mathis enters Tuesday’s game ranked ninth in the nation in 3-point field goals per game (3.69) and 14th in total 3-pointers (59).
