ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s tennis team’s scheduled trip to Stockton, California for the Mountain-Pacific Challenge, a three-match weekend, has been canceled due to the inclement weather, and the matches will not be made up.

The Lobos, who ose three opportunities to play, will not play at all this weekend, but head coach Ben Dunbar is actively looking for replacement games.  “We are looking for matches to replace these for later in the season,” said Dunbar.

With the cancelations, UNM now ends up with a six-match home stand, having defeated with Pacific 4-3 last Sunday at the Estes Tennis Center Indoor Bubbles.  UNM’s next match is Saturday, March 9 hosting Wichita State at 11 a.m., weather permitting, at the McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium.
