ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Lobo Football program knows the value of community service, with Coach Davie making a major commitment to it each season. Now, thanks to videos and slideshows put together by the student-athletes themselves, produced for themselves, Lobo Football is bringing some of its community service projects out for all to see.
Broken up into eight teams, led by a position coach, each team goes out and performed community service throughout the year, and then the student-athletes captured it on video, set it to music, and presented it to their teammates. This is the third of those videos that will be coming out over the next few weeks. We hope the fans enjoy seeing what Lobo Football brings to the community, working hard to make Albuquerque better for everyone.
The third video features new defensive coordinator and safeties coach Jordan Peterson’s team. Team Peterson choose for their video the team helping out with the Horn YMCA. The members of Team Peterson helped coach and referee, and even had a dunk contest. Oh yeah, did we forget to mention this was basketball? Everyone had a great time, student-athletes and the kids, and even the parents. Please enjoy the third installment of eight of “Lobo Football in the Community”
