ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico ski teams, both the men and the women, continued to turn in fantastic work in the classroom as the women’s team had a 3.89 GPA for the Fall 2018 semester and the men’s team turned in a 3.78 GPA.
Both marks led their respective sides, with the ski team leading the department, just ahead of the women’s golf team. For the women, the 3.89 tied for its fourth-best overall GPA, and for the men, the 3.78 set the record for the top mark in program history.
The team has its only home meet of the season this weekend on Friday and Saturday, February 1-2, The University of New Mexico/Drew Judycki Memorial/Jade Enterprises Invitational in Red River. The alpine events will be at the Red River Ski Area on the Downtown Trail, and the Nordic competitions will be run at the Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski Area.
