ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The University of New Mexico beach volleyball team recorded a team GPA of 3.73 in the 2018 fall term.
The team has a history of excelling in the classroom, dating back to its first season of existence.
It was the fifth semester in-a-row that the team has recorded a GPA above 3.60. In the past four semesters, the team has posted grade-point-averages of 3.85, 3.84, 4.00 and 3.73. In the nine semesters since beach volleyball started at UNM, the student-athletes have had a GPA of over 3.40 in all but one.
Amongst the department, the beach volleyball team’s GPA ranks as the fifth highest GPA among the overall department and the fourth highest among women’s sports.
