Lobo Talk is Back, Moving to Uptown Sports Bar
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Lobo Talk with Bob Davie is back, starting on Wednesday, August 29, with a new format, and with a new location. Lobo Talk will now be from 7-8 p.m., and it will feature Coach Davie live at Uptown Sports Bar with Voice of the Lobos Robert Portnoy. The second half of the show will feature two Lobo student-athletes. Once again, Lobo Talk will serve as a great chance to meet your players, great food and drink, and get the inside information on Lobo Football. The show will as always be available for free on GoLobos.com via a free audio stream that is listenable from any computer of mobile device. The opening show will be on Wednesday night, August 29.
Hosted once against by Robert Portnoy, the Voice of the Lobos, the shows will be mostly on Wednesday nights, with the exception of the final two weeks of the season, when the show will be on Monday night due to a Friday night game (Boise State) and the Thanksgiving holiday.
The show will again feature Coach Davie in the opening hour, recapping the previous week and really taking a look ahead at the upcoming week, along with discussion fan questions and calls. Fans can call in as well with questions for Coach Davie by calling 866-350-4309 or emailing unmlobosradio@yahoo.com, or tweeting @RobTalksLobos. The second hour will feature two players live on stage at Kellys, with a coach call-in call in at 8:35 p.m.
