ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team returns home after three road games on Tuesday night, hosting the Colorado Buffaloes at 7 p.m. on ESPN2. Tuesday’s game will mark the Lobos’ fourth in 10 days.

UNM enters the game coming off of a two-game skid against tough opponents NM State and Saint Mary’s, both by substantial margins. Colorado is riding a five-game win streak that includes victories over Mountain West opponents Air Force (93-56) and Colorado State (86-80).

SERIES HISTORY
Tuesday’s game marks the 15th game in the series between the Lobos and the Buffs with the series currently tied at 7-7. The teams last met in Boulder on Dec. 6, 2017 when the Buffs came away with a 75-57 victory after leading by just two at the half, 35-33. 

THE COACHES
Head coach Paul Weir is 23-18 in his second season with the Lobos, 51-24 in his third season as a head coach. CU head coach Tad Boyle is 173-111 in his ninth season with the Buffs and 229-177 overall in his 13th season.
