COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of New Mexico women’s basketball senior center Jaisa Nunn has been named as the Mountain West Player of the Week for the week-ending November 18 as it was announced by the league office on Monday.

For Nunn, it is her second career MW Player of the Week honor as she received the acclaim nearly a year ago to the day on November 20, 2017.
This player of the week honor comes in response to a monster double-double put up by Nunn is New Mexico’s 72-65 win over Hartford this past Sunday. In that game, Nunn scored 32 points on 11-of-18 shooting overall (.611), which included being 1-of-1 from three-point range. To complete her double-double, Nunn hauled in 11 rebounds in the contest as well.
A native of Kirkland, Wash., the double-double against Hartford was the first of the season for Nunn and the 21st of her career. Additionally, the 32 points was the fourth-career 30-point game in her career and is the top individual scoring mark in the Mountain West this season.
Nunn’s big game also elevated her one more place on the all-time scoring list as she now sits in 14th with 1,090 career points.
