Last year in the contest, host Texas took first place after shooting 15 strokes ahead of the second place finisher.
UNM enters the tournament following a 13th place finish at the Schooner Fall Classic on September 28-30. Senior Emma Edwards led the Lobos in the tournament after shooting a three-round score of five over, 218 and recording 38 pars in the contest. Senior Darian Zacheck trailed by just two strokes as she finished seven over, 220.
Round one of the tournament will tee off on Friday, October 19 at 8:00 a.m followed by round two on Saturday and round three on Sunday.
