ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The University of New Mexico women’s cross country team returns to the course this Saturday for the Lori Invitational Open, hosted by New Mexico State.
The women’s 5k run is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. at the NMSU Track and the intramural fields.
Competing against UNM will be UTEP, host New Mexico State, Western New Mexico, and El Paso Community College.
This will be the second time this season that the Aggies, Miners and Lobos will compete in a race. New Mexico, UTEP and New Mexico raced in the Lobo Invitational in the opening weekend, with New Mexico placing second with 41 points.
NMSU finished third as a team, with the women scoring 57 points. UTEP women won the team race with 34 team points and producing the first four finishers.
Running for the Lobos will be Johanna Briscoe, Emily Crall, Chamique DuBois, Sophie Eckel, Mackenzie Everett, Lydia Hallam, Juanita Johnson and Elizabeth Reyes.
