Lobo Soccer Academy Announces Summer Dates

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico men’s soccer program has officially announced several summer dates for the 2018 Lobo Soccer Academy. Lobo Soccer Academy is a collection of summer camps dedicated to developing soccer skills among various age groups.

The Lobos will host several camps for a variety of age groups over the summer, all of which will take place at the UNM Soccer Complex. Below is a list of dates for the summer of 2018:
 
High School Summer Series – July 7, 10, 12, 17, 19, 21
*Teams can either pay a one-time full payment, or they can pay in installments of 2 or 3 payments
*Check must be made out to Lobo Soccer Academy
 
Elite Camp & Junior Elite Camp – July 20-22
The Elite Program and Junior Elite Program are designed for the most serious and dedicated players with collegiate or professional playing aspirations. Mornings will consist of advanced technical and tactical sessions and will simulate UNM training sessions. Afternoons will involve team chalkboard discussions, video, quickness and speed enhancement training. The evening sessions will include match play. All sessions will be overseen by UNM coaches and will be very physically demanding! 

Lobo Developmental Camp (Full Day) – July 16-19; July 23-26
The program’s main emphasis will be to develop each camper into a more serious soccer player. Players of all levels will improve fundamental skills through dynamic activities and games in a stimulating and challenging environment. Players will be placed in groups according to age and/or ability. Mornings will emphasize individual skills and afternoons will involve team tactics and games. Video and chalkboard sessions will be incorporated into afternoon sessions. Majority of sessions will be held in the indoor practice facility.
 
Jr. Lobo Developmental Camp (Full or Half Day Options) – July 16-19; July 23-26
This program’s main emphasis will be learning through FUN! Campers will play together in small-sided games, providing players as many touches as possible. All players will be taught the fundamental skills of the game along with basic team shape. Skill development, fun, and enthusiasm are shared throughout the week. Majority of sessions will be held in the indoor practice facility.
