2018 Schedule

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Heather Dyche, fourth-year head coach of The University of New Mexico women’s soccer team, has announced the 2018 schedule, and it features 18 regular season games including 11 home games.
 
The Lobos will play one home exhibition game and 10 regular season home games.  UNM will take on CSU Pueblo in an exhibition game on Tuesday night, August 14 before opening the regular season on the road at Texas Tech on Friday, August 17.
 
The team will play four non-conference home games starting with games on Friday, August 24 with Pacific and Sunday, August 26 with Idaho State.  UNM will also have a pair of Friday night home games with a pair of regional foes.  On September 7 UNM will host UTEP, and the following week, the Lobos will take on New Mexico State.
 
UNM’s other two non-conference games will be California weekend with UNM playing at UC Davis on Friday, August 31 and at San Francisco on Sunday, September 2.
 
The conference schedule starts with Colorado State and Wyoming at home September 23 and 25.  UNM then alternates home and road weekends for the remainder of the year.  UNM travels to Fresno State and San Jose State September 28 and 30.
 
UNM returns home to host Boise State and Utah State October 5 and 7 before facing off at UNLV and Nevada October 12 and 14.  UNM’s final home weekend is October 19 and 21 hosting Air Force and Colorado College.  UNM’s final game of the regular season is October 26 at San Diego State.
 
The 2018 Mountain West Tournament opens on Tuesday, October 30 at host San Jose State.  The semifinals and finals are November 1 and 3.  The top two teams earn byes to the semifinals, while the top six teams overall qualify for the conference tournament.
