ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The new president of The University of New Mexico, Dr. Garnett Stokes, held an open house for all students yesterday afternoon, where they could come meet her and get free root beer floats, and when you need some muscle to scoop, you call on the Lobo Football team.
Members of the team came out to Dr. Stokes’ open house and helped scoop and make root beer floats for fellow students yesterday in a fun afternoon. The members of the team got to mingle with their fellow students, and many met the president for the first time.
