ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s soccer team will host an open tryout on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 3 p.m. at the UNM Indoor Practice Facility (IPF), located just south of the UNM Soccer Complex.
Please arrive 20 minutes early to check in. Also, please plan accordingly if classes will be missed as a result of participation in the tryout. If successful, a student can become a member of the Lobo men’s soccer program.
To be eligible for the tryout, a student must be a full-time student enrolled at UNM in at least 12 credit hours. Students enrolled at CNM or current high school students are NOT permitted to tryout. Each participating player will need a physical completed by a doctor within the last six months, along with proof of insurance (an insurance card or copy will do).
Players will also need to sign a release for activity at the tryout, which will be provided by the soccer staff on the day of the tryout. Students wanting to tryout should bring cleats, water and appropriate training gear. Please dress accordingly. Anyone wishing to attend the open tryout MUST contact assistant coach Mike Graczyk at lobosocr@unm.edu prior to Jan. 15.
