Game Day Info: Lobos hosting Utah St. (Heroes Day)

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Lobos host the Utah State Aggies with both teams trying to get to bowl eligibility.  The game will kickoff at 3:38 p.m. and will broadcast on AT&T SportsNet.  Below are all the important links to let you enjoy the game, whether you are making the trip to Dreamstyle Stadium, following along on social media, watching on TV or listening to Robert Portnoy.

BUYING TICKETS & COMING TO THE GAME
Information on purchasing tickets can be found at www.unmtickets.com, and buy tickets to this game, click here.  The Lobo Ticket Office in the Northeast corner will open at 11:30 a.m. and in the Northwest Corner of the stadium open at 2 p.m.  There is a special season-ticket holders entrance in the Northwest Corner to help get season ticket holders into the stadium a little quicker.  A couple of other important things to note when coming to the game.

Tailgate lots open at 9:30 a.m.
The Alumni Letterman’s Tailgate in the Lettermen’s Lounge is at noon
The Howl Zone will open at 1 p.m.
The Lobo Walk through the Howl Zone is at 1:30 p.m.
The Lot T shuttle from Lomas/University and the student shuttle from main campus both begin at 1:30 p.m.

It’s Heroes Day, so we will have the New Mexico Air Guard (H60 & LUH72) along with a New Mexico State Police helicopter at the North End of the Stadium East lot.  Additionally, all military and first responders with ID can received $10 turquoise level tickets.  Happy hour will be 30 minutes from the opening of the gates (2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.), and that’s $2 hot dogs and $5 domestic drafts.  For military and first responders with ID, Happy Hour pricing for those items will last the entire game.

Fans are encouraged to get their tickets as early as possible and to come in early to the game to avoid lines and missing any of the action.

  • The STP Dirt Lot (No. 4/SSSC Dirt on the map to the right) is free parking, but space is limited and is first come, first serve. 
  • Overflow ADA parking is located in the Pit West parking lot, where we will shuttle you via golf cart to and from Dreamstyle Stadium.

    • HEROES DAY: In support of our armed forces and first responders, we’re hosting our Heroes Day game when we take on Utah State! All active and retired military and first responders can receive $10 turquoise section tickets with a valid ID. We’ll also have a flyover before kickoff! 
    • HELICOPTERS, FIRE TRUCKS & ROBOTS: In conjunction with our Heroes Day game, we’ll also have a static display of helicopters, fire trucks, police vehicles, robots and military vehicles in the Howl Zone and Stadium West parking lot. 
    • LOBO DOG TAGS: Don’t miss out on our great giveaway for this week’s Heroes Day game — Lobo dog tags! You can pick up your dog tags at entry!
    • 50/50 RAFFLE: Support your Lobos with our 50/50 Raffle! For $1, fans can purchase a raffle ticket in support of the Lobo Club and Lobo Student Athletes. Near the conclusion of each game, a ticket is selected and a lucky fan goes home with 50 percent of the money collected that game, with the other 50 percent going to the Lobo Club Scholarship Fund.
    • THIS WEEK’S FEATURED FOOD ITEM: Our concessions partner Levy Restaurants continues to produce some tasty items for Lobo fans. This week’s “Item of the Game” are pork tamales, with three tamales and red or green chile. You can pick up this up for $10 at the NE & NW concession stands.
    • HAPPY HOUR: For 30 minutes after the gates open (from 6:45pm to 7:15pm), we’ll be offering $5 domestic beers and $2 hot dogs at the N.E. and N.W. stands in Dreamstyle Stadium. For military personnel and first responders, Happy Hour will continue through the entire game.
    • SPECIAL CONCESSIONS: Special concession prices are now available for UNM students at the northeast concession stand: It’s 50 percent off on nachos, hot dogs and sodas when you present a valid UNM student ID! 
    • RIDE WITH UBER: UNM Athletics and Uber have partnered to provide an exclusive drop-off and pick-up zone across University Blvd. at Isotope Stadium on the first-base side. By using the promo code GOLOBOS, first-time riders will receive a free Uber ride up to $20, and existing riders will be entered to win a game day prize pack! UNM Athletics and Uber encourage fans to use safe alternatives to and from the game.
    • LOBO WALK: Greet your Lobos as they arrive to Dreamstyle Stadium! The team buses drop the players of in the Stadium East lot, where they’ll walk to the stadium through the Howl Zone and into Gate 8. Lineup to greet the team at 1:30PM!

HOW TO WATCH
The game is being broadcast on AT&T SportsNet.  Fans should access the Mountain West Broadcast Guide for what channel AT&T SportsNet is on the various systems.  Fans can watch online outside of the AT&T SportsNet footprint.  AT&T was formerly ROOT Sports, so safe to say if you can watch Rockies games, or Mariners games, or Astros games in your market, you can watch the Lobos on your television.
