2017-18 Men’s Basketball Printable Schedule
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — With the selections complete, the Mountain West has announced the leagues television schedule and game times for the 2017-18 men’s basketball season, and the Lobos currently are slated for TV 22 times, including 13 of 16 Mountain West games.
UNM had 22 of 26 UNM and MW controlled games selected, while three non-conference road games, at New Mexico State, at UTEP and at Colorado, are expected to be broadcast as well. Additionally, four UNM or MW controlled games (Northern New Mexico, San José State at home, and both Utah State games) can potentially be picked up by entities at a later time.
The Lobos will be on ATT SportsNet/ROOT eight times, on CBS Sports Network five times, ESPN3 five times, and ESPNU and the Mountain West Network on Stadium once. Additionally, two games (at UNLV on January 17 and January 27 at home against Colorado State) are flex games that will be either on ESPNU or ESPN3.
UNM’s eight games on ATT SportsNet start with the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge game with Evansville from Dreamstyle Arena on November 29. Addition home games on ATT SportsNet are vs. Rice on December 19, Prairie View A&M December 22 and Air Force December 27. The four road games on ATT SportsNet are at Nevada December 30, at San José State February 3, at Wyoming February 20 and at Colorado State February 28.
Of the five games on CBS Sports Network, the most anticipated is the December 16 matchup with Arizona at Dreamstyle Arena. UNM also has home games on CBS Sports Network with San Diego State on January 20 and UNLV on February 25. Also on CBS Sports Network are the final two games of the Destin Realty Emerald Coast Classic November 24 and 25 as UNM takes on TCU and then either Maryland or St. Bonaventure.
UNM’s five ESPN3 games, which are available online via the Watch ESPN app, are home vs. New Mexico State on December 9, at Boise State January 3, at Fresno State January 13, at Air Force February 10 and the regular season finale on March 3 against Fresno State.
Only three home games for New Mexico will start later than 7 p.m, a 7:35 start against Rice and 8 p.m. starts against Boise State and Colorado State, although Colorado State could move to 7 p.m. potentially.
