ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico beach volleyball team will be holding team tryouts on September 11-12 at 2:30 p.m. on the beach volleyball courts located next to the Casas del Rio dorms on the main campus of UNM.
In order to try out, all interested students must fulfill a list of requirements before arriving for their tryout, including:
- Full-time enrollment as students (12 credit hours) at UNM for the Fall 2017 semester.
- A signed paper from a physician proving the student has undergone a physical within the last calendar year (performed anytime from September 11, 2016 through September 11, 2017).
- Proof of current health insurance (i.e., health insurance card or papers) from their health insurer.
- A liability waiver (linked above) signed by either the athlete or a parent/guardian if the athlete is under 18 years of age.
Interested students should send their interest in attending and their liability forms to Elsa Krieg at ekrieg@unm.edu no later than Friday, September 8.
On the days of the tryouts, students should arrive promptly for the tryout at 2:30 p.m., with all remaining required documents and wearing appropriate attire.
