ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The 2017-18 women’s basketball season is approaching at a pace that matches the speed of Coach Bradbury’s style of play. With season ticket renewal information having been mailed out last week, the time has come to get your tickets to watch the Lobos as they host 21 games in Dreamstyle Arena.

The Lobos are returning eight players from last season, including All-Mountain West Team selection Cherise Beynon and Mountain West All-Freshmen honoree Mykiel Burleson. Beynon also registered the first Lobo triple-double since 1979 (posted two on the season to tie the program record for triple-doubles), was second in the nation in triple-doubles in 2016-17 and finished the season ranked 13th in the country in assists per game (6.6 apg). This year’s roster will also feature six new players and Coach Bradbury’s inaugural recruiting class for Lobo Women’s Basketball.
In addition to an action-packed Mountain West slate, this year’s exciting 21-game home schedule includes non-conference matchups against Marquette, Illinois, Texas Tech and New Mexico State. Season ticket prices per game have decreased this season, with the overall ticket price increasing slightly based on the 21-game home schedule (as compared to 19 home games last season).
Last year the Lobos finished with the 17th-best attendance record in the nation, this accomplishment marked the 18th consecutive season that the Lobos ranked in the top 25. Additionally, New Mexico has boasted the best attendance in the Mountain West for 18 straight years.
