ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico cross country team will be holding team tryouts on Monday, August 21 at 7 a.m. at the University of New Mexico’s Outdoor Track Complex.
In order to try out, all interested students must fulfill a list of requirements before arriving for their tryout, including:

Full-time enrollment as students (12 credit hours) at UNM for the Fall 2017 semester.

A signed paper from a physician proving the student has undergone a physical within the last calendar year (performed anytime from August 21, 2016 through August 21, 2017).

Proof of current health insurance (i.e., health insurance card or papers) from their health insurer.

A liability waiver (linked above) signed by either the athlete or a parent/guardian if the athlete is under 18 years of age.

Registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center, including certified final amateurism, and a Member Number.

Final transcripts from previous institution (if transfer student).
The gates to the UNM Track Complex will open at 6 a.m. on August 21 so students can begin warm ups. The tryout will begin promptly at 7 a.m.
Students should arrive with all necessary documents and wearing appropriate running attire. Those who make the cut will be asked to stay near campus for a team meeting. It is suggested students bring a drink and snack for post-tryout.
