CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced Wednesday and once again, four Lobos made the list. Katerina Jaeger, Eva Saulnier, Alexandra Moisand and Ingrid Gutierrez were among a total of 952 women’s collegiate golfers that were recognized.
“This is a great accomplishment for our program and we are so proud of our student-athletes,” said head coach Jill Trujillo. “Our team takes their studies very seriously and I am constantly impressed by their work ethic.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletes. The minimum cumulative GPA to qualify for the team is 3.50.
Recently announced, the team finished with a Spring GPA of 3.88. It was the second-best mark in program history and the 10th straight semester with at least a 3.7 GPA or higher.
