ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The 2017 summer camp season is underway as The University of New Mexico women’s basketball team tipped off its day camp on Monday with a pair of sessions including campers ages 8-17. Day camp will continue through Thursday, June 22.
The Lobo campers kicked off the morning session of day one with some extensive skill instruction with current Lobos and members of the UNM coaching staff. The session was full of multiple skill stations followed by exciting five-on-five scrimmages. Campers followed in the afternoon session with skill instruction focused on defensive strategies and shooting contests, as well as high-energy scrimmages.
