ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Head coach Mike Bradbury of The University of New Mexico women’s basketball program, along with his coaching staff, has put together an outstanding incoming class for the fall of 2017. Jaedyn De La Cerda, Madison Washington, Antonia Anderson, Jasmine Smith, N’Dea Flye and Aisia Robinson have all signed to join the Lobos for next season. Below is an update on the most recent accomplishments for all six incoming Lobos.

Jaedyn De La Cerda [5-8, Guard – Roswell, N.M.] – Ranked #223
De La Cerda completed her senior season earning the prestigious Gatorade New Mexico Girls Player of the Year honor averaging 23 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals per game. She helped lead her Roswell High squad to a 24-6 record and a Class 6A State Tournament Semifinal appearance.

Madison Washington [5-8, Point Guard – Red Oak, Texas] – Ranked #213
Washington wrapped up her successful high school career at Red Oak High School leading her team to a 22-11 record in her senior season in 2016-17. She was named 5A All-State for her exemplary efforts and earned District 10/5A First Team All-District honors for averaging 16 points, three rebounds and two assists per game.

Antonia Anderson [6-2, Guard/Forward – Cibolo, Texas] – Ranked #189
Anderson racked up the accolades following her final high school season. Ranked 189th in the nation by the Dan Olson Girls Basketball Report, Anderson earned 6A All-State honors playing for Steele High School in Texas. She was named TABC All-Star, All-Region and All-State, TGCA All-State, TGCA Legacy All-Star and TGCA Academic All-State.

Jasmine Smith [5-8, Guard – Houston, Texas] – Ranked #236
Smith completed her career the District 16 Most Valuable Player while earning a spot on the All-Greater Houston Area First Team. She averaged 17.5 points, 4.1 assists and 3.2 steals in her final season at DeKaney High School while helping lead her team to a 33-5 record.

N’Dea Flye [5-7, Point Guard – Oregon City, Ore.] – Ranked #155
Flye led her team to the 6A Oregon State Championship game where her squad finished as the state runner-up. A 6A First Team All-State honoree, Flye also led her team to a 21-8 record in her senior season and played in the Merritt Truax Memorial Northwest Shootout. Flye also enters her first season as a Lobo ranked 155th in the 2017 High School Class by the Dan Olson Girls Basketball Report.

Aisia Robertson [5-8, Guard – San Francisco, Calif.] – Ranked #74 (in 2015)
Robertson, the Lobos’ newest addition for the 2017-18 season, comes from Kansas University with two years of eligibility remaining. She played in every game during her two-year career at Kansas, including 22 starts as a freshman, and averaged 4.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 15 minutes per game. When she was recruited out of high school in 2015, she was ranked 74th by the Dan Olson Girls Basketball Report.
