Lobo women's soccer signs 13 for '17 season

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico women’s soccer team added 13 new faces to the program during Wednesday’s national letter of intent signing day.

The group has a mix of in-state (six) and out-of-state (seven) talent and UNM coach Heather Dyche believes it’s a group that’s going to have a chance to make an impact sooner rather than later.

“This year’s recruiting class is one that we are really excited about,” Dyche said. “We have players coming in to challenge for a starting role at every position on the field which creates great competition on our team. In addition to being talented players, they are excellent students, and most importantly, great people off the field.

“We are proud to welcome them officially to our Lobo family!”
