Lobo swimming & diving strong in classroom again

 ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico swimming and diving team put up another strong semester in the classroom as the Lobos posted a 3.34 GPA in the Fall.

It marks the 37th consecutive semester that UNM swimming and diving has posted at least a 3.0 GPA and the 22nd straight where it has been at 3.2 or above.

The Lobo swimming and diving team and the rest of the UNM department programs combined to post a 3.30 GPA – tied for the second highest in school history. Also, UNM helped the female student-athletes accumulate a 3.55 GPA – the second best mark in UNM history.

The Lobos continue their season Saturday on the road against New Mexico State University.
