ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico volleyball team has always posted consistent results under 10th-year head coach Jeff Nelson, and its marks in the classroom are no different.

The Lobos posted a team GPA of 3.36 for the Fall 2016 semester, their 10th straight semester with at least a 3.0 GPA. In fact, the Lobos have registered at least a 3.0 GPA for 28 of their last 29 semesters.

The volleyball team combined with the rest of the women’s sports at UNM for a 3.57 GPA, the best-ever by the all of the women’s teams. It’s the 11th-straight semester of at least a 3.4 by the combined women’s teams, as well.
