ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — After a successful season on the field that saw the Lobos men’s soccer program reach the second round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament, the team has once again been recognized for its outstanding performance – this time in the classroom. The team posted a 2016 fall semester grade point average of 3.28, the UNM athletic department announced Friday.

Not only did the Lobos score over a 3.0 during their busy travel season this year, but the 2016 fall semester marks the 11th semester in a row that the men’s soccer team has tallied a GPA above a 3.2.

The Lobos are dedicated to continuing their success, both academically and athletically. This past semester is the 26th time the Lobos have finished a semester above the 3.0 mark under head coach Jeremy Fishbein’s tutelage.
