ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —The enhancements for Lobo Football Game Day continue. After announcing that Branch Field will be open to the fans after games, Lobo Football and The University of New Mexico Athletics Department have announced that each game of the 2016 season will feature fan giveaway. Each giveaway will be announced prior to the game along with the quantity, and each can be redeemed with a ticket to the game.
Fans who attend football games can anticipate receiving branded, game day items in a wide range of items. At UNM’s Thursday night home opener versus South Dakota, the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a Lobo Spirit Band. A Spirit Band is a multi-purpose fan item that can be used as a head band, rally towel or wristband.
“We have the best fans in the country and they choose to spend their hard-earned dollars supporting our football program” remarked Vice President for Athletics Paul Krebs, “These giveaways are a method for us to give back and show our appreciation. In addition, it adds value to our home football games and enhances the game day experience.”
This is one of the many new game day enhancements that Lobo Football fans can look forward to this year. Additional game day information will be available on the newly developed Lobo Football Game Day webpage. Previously announced, Lobo fans can go onto Branch Field after games for photos.
2016 Lobo Football Season Tickets are still available starting at $96. Fans can also take advantage of the 2016 Lobo Football Family Pack. Lobo families of four can attend all six home games at Branch Field at University Stadium for just $125 (a $125 savings off the regular family plan season ticket price). The Lobo Football Family Pack includes two adult and two youth (2-18 years old) season tickets in the North End Zone general admission area (Cherry Level) of University Stadium. The Lobo Football Family Pack offers fans the opportunity to attend Football games for roughly $5.21 per person per game, an affordable price point for any football fan.
Taking advantage of this amazing deal is as simple as eating at Sadie’s of New Mexico, ordering a pizza from Domino’s or doing your weekly grocery shopping at Albertsons. When Lobo fans spend $25 at any Sadie’s of New Mexico restaurant, $15 with Domino’s or $50 at an Albertsons location, purchasers will receive a receipt that can be redeemed for the Lobo Football Family Pack at the Lobo Ticket Office at WisePies Arena. All purchases from Albertsons, Domino’s Pizza or Sadie’s of New Mexico must be redeemed in-person by September 1 to qualify for the Lobo Football Family Pack.
