Women’s Basketball Game with EIU Postponed
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Due to the weather conditions in the Midwest that have forced flight cancellations around the country, The University of New Mexico’s women’s basketball game against Eastern Illinois, scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m., has been postponed. Eastern Illinois cannot make it to Albuquerque due to the weather and conditions.
New Mexico head coach Mike Bradbury has said that the game will be made up a later date. All tickets for Sunday will be honored at the make-up date if one can be found.
The Lobos, 4-5, will now head to Wisconsin for a game against Marquette on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Mountain Time. That game will be available on the Lobo Sports Radio Network and livestreamed at GoMarquette.com.
