NEW MEXICO LOBO SOCCER: CONFERENCE USA TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS … ON TO NCAA TOURNAMENT!

Conference-USA Tournament Champions! Can’t tell you how proud I am of this team! 3-0 win over Florida International in todays Final. With the win, the automatic pass into the NCAA Tournament. Man did the boys show grit, toughness, passion, unity, quality and fight this week. Wins over #18 Kentucky, #5 Charlotte and #50 FIU to bring home the trophy. Cant wait for the next one! Tremendous defense set the tone this afternoon and goals from Niko Hansen (2) and Chris Wehan sealed the deal. Complete performance! Todays Conference Final Re-Cap
We fly out of Charleston, WV early tomorrow morning and arrive in Albuquerque at 11:20 am. The NCAA Selection Show starts at 11:00 am, so we will not be hosting a “watch party” tomorrow…..we won’t be watching! If I had to guess, we host the opening round this Thursday night at the Lobo Soccer Complex at 7:00 pm. We will know for sure by tomorrow afternoon.
