Single Game Basketball Tickets on Sale Now

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M, — Single-game tickets for all 17 men’s and 19 women’s home games are available online at www.unmtickets.com or on sale in person. As always, fans that purchase tickets online may choose the print-at-home option for tickets, a great feature for all Lobo fans. 

Single-game tickets will go on sale Monday, Oct. 24, at the Lobo Ticket Office at The Pit, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tickets may also be purchased through the phone center (M-F, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., 505-925-5858) and at all Albertsons stores in the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho/Santa Fe/Los Lunas area.  A complete listing of those stores can be found here: http://www.unmtickets.com/albertsons

Fans coming directly to The Pit can check out the Lobo Den Store, powered by your UNM Bookstores! The Lobo Den is chock full of Lobo and Nike gear, replica jerseys, team apparel, fan items and souvenirs, all available to make your Lobo basketball experience an unforgettable one. The Lobo Den is open from noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

With season ticket sales underway, fans will not want to wait to get their single-game tickets. Games that are expected to sell fast are non-conference matchups with New Mexico State (Nov. 18), Abilene Christian (Nov. 30) and UTEP (Dec. 7). Conference games expected to fill the stands include UNLV (Jan. 10), Utah State (Jan. 24), Boise State (Feb 14), and San Diego State (March 4). The game against Abilene Christian will be an extra special event as the Lobo men’s basketball team is celebrating 50 years at The Pit.

On the women’s side, fans will not want to miss non-conference matchups like New Mexico State (Nov. 15) or SMU (Dec. 3). The SMU game on Dec. 3 will mark the Lobo women’s basketball team’s Alumni Day where the Lobos will also celebrate 50 years in The Pit. In addition, conference games that are expected to be popular include the Lobos vs. reigning Mountain West Champion, Colorado State (Jan. 14), Boise State (Jan. 18) and Fresno State (Feb. 18). UNM will also host its annual Thanksgiving Tournament (Nov. 25-26) that will feature Tulsa, BYU and St. Joseph’s.

New Mexico men’s basketball opens the exhibition season with games on Nov. 2 against Western New Mexico at 7 p.m. and on Nov. 4 against Eastern New Mexico at 7 p.m. The women’s team will take the court for their exhibition season on Nov. 1 against Fort Lewis at 7 p.m. and on Nov. 6 against Eastern New Mexico at 2 p.m. 

The men’s team opens regular-season play on Nov. 11 against Idaho State where Craig Neal will kick off his fourth season as head coach of the Lobos while Mike Bradbury will begin his first season at the helm of the women’s team on Nov. 12 against Fairleigh Dickinson at 2 p.m.
