ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The time to howl is here! The annual Lobo Howl is set for this Friday, Oct. 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (MST) inside WisePies Arena – The Pit. The event is free to attend with free parking as well.
We encourage fans to arrive early as doors will open at 6 p.m. and partake in pregame festivities, including an autograph session with the men’s and women’s basketball teams from 6-6:45 p.m.
First year coach Mike Bradbury and Lobo Women’s Hoops will take to Bob King Court from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. before Coach Craig Neal and Lobo Men’s Basketball hit the hardwood from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Lobo teams will have drill work, three-point competitions, slam dunk contest and always a surprise or two! The Howl is also your first chance to see the familiar faces of the teams while getting introduced to new ones.
UNM Students are encouraged to attend this year’s Lobo Howl as they can register for a chance to shoot a half-court shot for a book scholarship, courtesy of head coach Craig Neal. All who are interested must enter through the northeast entrance of WisePies Arena – The Pit. Any UNM student who registers for the half-court shot drawing must be enrolled in at least six hours and have a valid UNM ID with them at the time of registration. The winner will be selected by means of a random drawing.
Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the Lobo Howl. Season ticket sales will be located on the northeast corner of the concourse. The Lobo Outbound Ticket Sales team will be on hand to answer any questions fans may have regarding season ticket purchases, as well as present seats that are available for purchase.
