ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – It’s that time of year for Junior Lobo Cheerleaders. We have an exciting season planned as our Junior Lobo Cheerleaders (ages 4-12) will be participating in three practices, three performances and will get to cheer for one half of a women’s basketball game this year!
“The Junior Lobo Cheerleaders is the perfect program for your little Lobo,” said head Spirit coach Madison Baumann. “The UNM Spirit Program enjoys giving back to the community and tries to help spread Lobo spirit to fans of all ages.”
Within the practices, Spirit Program members will engages the Junior Lobos by teaching them cheers, dances and basic stunting in a fun and safe environment.
The program cost to become a Junior Lobo Cheerleader is $250 for a new member or a returner who needs a uniform and $150 for a returner who does not need a uniform.
