ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — When you are a fan of the New Mexico Lobo football team, you have to be ready for explosive plays. If you went to Thursday night’s game, and were getting your ticket and figured “I can miss the first play”, you missed a 75-yard touchdown from Teriyon Gipson.

The 5-game season ticket package works the same as a regular season ticket, and secures you the same seat for great match ups including: Homecoming with San José State, Boise State, Nevada and Wyoming. The plans start at just $75 for an Adult or $205 for a 4-seat Family Plan and can offer savings of up to 28% off of the single game ticket prices. This season your Lobos look to improve upon the 2015 campaign that saw them win seven games and make an appearance in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl. The Lobos also won their most conference games since the 1997 season. The team is one of the most exciting in the nation, as the 2015 Lobos led all Division I FBS teams in plays of 60 yards or more, and of 70 yards or more. It wasn’t just on the ground either as UNM was the only Division I team with three passing plays of 80 yards or more during the season.
In the season opener, the Lobos racked up four plays of 60 yards or more, including a 62-yard touchdown pass and touchdown runs of 75 and 84 yards.
