ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — One of the great things about The University of New Mexico is the great alumni we have throughout the country. Now, alumni and Lobo football fans can get together at four Lobo Football road games this season.
In a partnership with the UNM Alumni Association and the Lobo Club, alumni and fans can form a rabid pack of fans for road games in Las Cruces, New Jersey, Dallas and Hawaii this season. Fans will be able to partake in great tailgate food and non-alcoholic beverages for just $10 per person.
“This is an important collaboration with our Alumni Association and we are excited about it,” said Brad Hutchins, Deputy Athletic Director. “College football is an event, and we need to engage our alumni and fan base as much as possible.”
“We’re excited to work with our partners in athletics and the Lobo Club to bring alumni across the country out in support of the Lobos,” said Dana Allen, vice president of Alumni Relations and executive director of the Alumni Association. “It will be a great opportunity to connect with other fans and proud Lobos in areas where we don’t travel to as often.”

Saturday, Sep. 10, 2016 – Las Cruces, N.M.
at New Mexico State University
Aggie Memorial Stadium. Tailgate: 3:30-5:30 pm MST. Game Time: 6:00 pm MST.
Look for our tent in the parking lot and wear your best Cherry and Silver to show your Lobo pride! Tailgate menu will be provided including sausage, pulled pork, sides, chips and salsa and non-alcoholic beverages. $10 per person.
Saturday, Sep. 17, 2016 – Piscataway, N.J.
at Rutgers
High Point Stadium. Tailgate: 10:00 am EST. Game Time: 12:00 pm EST.
Look for our tent in the Soccer Practice Field and wear your best Cherry and Silver to show your Lobo pride! Breakfast items and a cash bar will be available. Parking is available for $20/vehicle. Fans can park at the Rutgers Athletic Center (RAC) to catch the complimentary shuttle to the tailgate area in the Soccer Practice Field. $10 per person.
Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 – Dallas, Texas
at Air Force
Cotton Bowl. Tailgate: 2 hours prior to kickoff CST. Game Time: TBD.
Fans can gather at the corner of Keating and Nimitz Streets, located within the State Fair.Tailgate items and a cash bar will be available. Parking is available on the State Fairgrounds for $20/vehicle on a first-come first serve basis. Parking is also available in nearby neighborhoods at various rates. Your game ticket will also provide admittance to the Texas State Fair for the day. Tailgate is $10 per person.
Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 – Honolulu, Hawaii
at Hawaii
Aloha Stadium. Tailgate: 4:00 pm HST. Game Time: 6:00 pm HST.
Join other Lobo alumni and fans for a pregame social with appetizers and a cash bar and then make your way right into Aloha Stadium. $10 per person.
