ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico women’s soccer program maintained a strong academic record during their non-championship season, posting a spring GPA of 3.46.
The women’s soccer team has now posted an astounding 12 straight semesters of having a team GPA of 3.4 or higher. In the fall, the Lobos reached a GPA of 3.59.
The high standard for the women’s soccer program has been recognized over the years, with the 2015 season marking the 10th straight year in which the Lobos earned Academic All-District honors. This past season, a pair of seniors, Cassie Ulrich from Rio Rancho, N.M. and Alyssa Coonrod from Albuquerque, N.M., were named to the 2015 CoSIDA/Academic All-District VII Team.
