ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico will host its 23rd annual New Mexico Women’s Football Clinic on July 21st at Branch Field at University Stadium, with festivities starting at 5:30 p.m.
                                                                                       
The purpose of the clinic is give women a first-hand look at the inner workings of the Lobo football program. The clinic also will provide attendees an opportunity to meet coach Davie, his staff and members of the Lobo football program.

 
“The Lobo Football Women’s Clinic has become a great tradition here at UNM, and it’s something our staff really enjoys,” Davie said. “It’s a great opportunity to give an inside look at our program, and teach our female fans about Lobo football.”
 
All participants will be provided dinner, participate in a Question & Answer Session, take a tour of the Lobo football facilities, learn on-field drills with instruction from the players and coaches, and receive a T-shirt for attending.
 
“It’s a great clinic for anyone, no matter their level of football knowledge,” said assistant coach Charles McMillian.  “If you want to just learn about the game, it’s great.  If you know about the game and want to learn about what it’s like to be a Lobo, it’s great for that too.  It really caters to everybody.”
 
The cost of the event is just $30, and Proceeds benefit the Send-A-Kid Program, which allows underprivileged youth to attend Lobo football games.
