DURHAM, N.C. – Last week, USA Baseball announced the 40 players named to the 2016 USA Baseball Women’s National Team Trials roster. One of our very own former Lobos, Mia Hignojos, has been selected as an alternate for the team trials.
The Women’s Nationals Team Trials will be held at Cal State Fullerton from August 22-25. Following the trials USA Baseball will unveil the final 20-player Women’s National Team that will travel to Gijang City, South Korea for the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women’s Baseball World Cup from September 3-11.
