ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—The No. 52 University of New Mexico women’s tennis team will host its final home match of the season tomorrow as they take on conference opponent Air Force.
The Lobos are 4-0 in conference play and have won eight of their last nine matches. They are coming off a 2-0 weekend against non-conference opponents UTEP and New Mexico State. Two of their conference wins have been sweeps; they defeated Colorado State 7-0 and Utah State 4-0.
Air Force is 13-10 in their season and 1-3 in conference play. They fell to Wyoming, Utah State and Boise State. They pulled off a 7-0 win over Colorado State. This will be Air Force’s last match before they head to the Mountain West Championship in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The Match is set for tomorrow at 12 p.m. at McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium.
