Summer 2016: Battle of the Rio Grande

Join us Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 7 p.m. for one of the biggest and most exciting basketball games in WisePies Arena aka The Pit this year; The Battle of the Rio Grande. The matchup will be alumni from The University of New Mexico taking on alumni from New Mexico State University. The battle will see players such as former New Mexico Lobos, Danny Granger, Alex Kirk and Dairese Gary and former New Mexico State Aggies Tshiliszi Nephawe, Daniel Mullings and Sim Bhullar. Players of this caliber have not all played together on WisePies Arena floor since Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls squared off in a 1996 pre-season game.
