Lobos Are Back on the Road to Face North Texas, UT Arlington

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—The University of New Mexico women’s tennis team heads back to Texas this weekend as they take on UT Arlington and North Texas.
 
The No. 45 Lobos are currently 6-5 after they fell to Houston, but upset Rice last weekend. They have pulled off three upsets this season so far.
 
On Friday the Lobos take on North Texas at the 3 p.m. Friday. North Texas is currently 6-7 in the season. They have wins over VCU and Liberty, but are coming off a three match losing streak against No. 60 TCU, USF and No. 14 Tulsa.
 
UT Arlington is 7-1 in the season. They have played two matches away from home, and have gone 1-1 in those matches. They are coming off two wins over Temple and Penn. Their match against the Lobos is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at the UTA Tennis Center.
