ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico swimming and diving program is known for its excellent work in the classroom. Its success continued in the Fall 2015 semester with a team GPA of 3.54. That marks the 35th straight semester the program has had at least a 3.0 and the 20th consecutive semester with a GPA of 3.2 or better. It is also the fourth highest GPA the team has received, dating all the way back to the spring of 1992.

The Lobos are coming off a win over in-state rival New Mexico State last Saturday. The win clinched the Rio Grande Rivalry for UNM for the ninth straight year. UNM is now preparing for the Mountain West Championships in College Station, Texas. The diving squad has a meet at Air Force this weekend that will serve as the final competition for the Lobos before the championships.
