ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico women’s basketball team put together its best grade point average this fall.
The Lobos finished with a program-best grade point average of 3.61, taking out the previous program high of 3.51, which had stood since the Fall 2002 semester.
Women’s hoops now has a string of 30 consecutive semesters of at least a 3.0 grade point average.
The Lobos return to action on the court Wednesday as they take on UNLV in Las Vegas, Nev. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. MT and the game will be available on the Mountain West Network. The next game in WisePies Arena will take place Saturday at 2 p.m. MT.
