ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — There was plenty of success on the field, and as it turns out, there was just as much in the classroom.

The Fall , 2015 grades have officially been posted and certified, and the Lobo football team posted a 2.68 grade point average, the second-best Fall semester in the last 30 years, going back to the Fall of 1986.

The Lobos went 7-6 last season and finished in second place in the Mountain West’s Mountain Division, one win away from the conference title game.  The Lobos played in their first bowl game in eight years, losing the 2015 Gildan New Mexico Bowl in a close battle 45-37 to Arizona of the Pac-12.

The Lobos have been turning in fantastic marks academically in the Bob Davie era, with 50 Mountain West All-Academic selections in his first three seasons, including a program record 20 in 2014.  The 2015 team will be released later in February.
