ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico baseball program turned in its second best GPA ever in the fall of 2015. The program boasted a team GPA of 3.18, which comes in behind only Fall 2013’s 3.21. It also marks the eighth straight semester the team has been above a 3.0.
“This is a testament to our academic advisors and the advising department that Paul Krebs has built here,” head coach Ray Birmingham said. “They prepare our student-athletes for success.”
The Lobos began spring practice last week in preparation for the 2016 season, which begins on Feb. 19 at Hawai’i,
