ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Want to have fun and get some exercise at the same time? Play volleyball at UNM in spring 2016!
The UNM Lobo League is a volleyball league for the Albuquerque community and one of the largest volleyball leagues in the United States. There are women, men and coed divisions with about five different levels in each division.
Spring registration is due to the UNM Volleyball Offices on Friday, January 8, by 5 p.m., and late registration for the spring season is due Wednesday, January 13, by 5 p.m.
The Lobo League holds matches at 5:30, 6:40, 7:50, and 9 on Saturday and Sunday nights at Johnson Center on the main campus of UNM. The league is open to anyone in the Albuquerque area.
The first weekend of play is January 23-24. Participants will play 10 matches throughout the season and then in an end-of-season tournament in May. Matches three games played to 30 points with rally scoring. Tournament play is best two-out-of-three games with rally scoring to 20.
