ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s tennis squad is in Los Angeles, Calif., this weekend for the start of the ITA National Indoor playoffs.
The Lobos are taking on No. 43 Georgia Tech tomorrow and either No. 15 UCLA or No. 47 SMU on Saturday. The Lobos are coming off a 1-5 record so far this season with a win over the University of the Pacific 4-2.
Head coach Bart Scott is hoping that the work they put in the previous weekend will help prepare them for the matches they have face this weekend.
After the matches this weekend, the Lobos hope to head to Charlottesville, VA, February 12 for the remainder of the USTA/ITA National Indoors tournament.
