ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – After a week off from play, the University of New Mexico women’s basketball team returns home to take on Pepperdine Saturday at 2 p.m. The game will be available on the Mountain West Network here.
About The Matchup:
New Mexico will face Pepperdine for its first of two home games in December. This will be the fourth meeting of all-time between the two teams. Pepperdine is leading the all-time series 2-1. The last time the two teams met was in Nov. 2011 in head coach Yvonne Sanchez’s first season. Pepperdine claimed a 59-50 overtime victory over the Lobos in WisePies Arena.
About New Mexico:
The Lobos are coming off their first road win of the season, after claiming a 63-58 close victory over SMU last week. This season UNM is outscoring their opponents by 6.5 points. About the Coaches:

Ryan Weisenberg is in his third season with Pepperdine. He owns a 15-49 overall record for the Waves and it currently 4-6 on the season.
