ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Lobos take on the Colorado State Rams at Branch Field at University Stadium. Kickoff is at 3:38 p.m. The Lobos are 6-4 (4-2 MW) and coming off a 31-24 win at Boise State, while Colorado State is 5-5 overall and 3-3 in the Mountain West, having defeated UNLV 49-35 last week. EXTRA SECURITY MEASURES
Due to the recent events in France and with the increased security threats to stadiums and arenas, UNM athletics will be implementing additional security measures to help protect our fans and the game day experience. We at UNM appreciate the cooperation of our fans.
The University of New Mexico will be using extra security at UNM’s home football game on Saturday vs. Colorado State. All fans entering the game will be searched using a metal detecting wand and all bags will be searched. Gates open at 2 p.m. and we are urging all fans to arrive early into the stadium.
In order to make entry into the stadium go as quickly and smoothly as possible, we encourage fans to not bring into the stadium the following items:
*Backpacks
*Purses
*Bags
Any of the above items will be searched by security at the entrance gates.
