About The Matchup:
The Lobos will face New Mexico Highlands in their second and final exhibition. The last time the two teams met was in the 2013-14 season for an exhibition match up. The Lobos put up a dominating 81-40 win over the Cowgirls on November 2, 2013. Former Lobo Antiesha Brown led the squad with 23 points while Khadijah Shumpert was second in scoring with 12 points.

New Mexic Highlands finished 12th in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference last year with a 5-17 record. The Cowgirls only claimed one other win on the season for a 6-20 overall record. The Cowgirls are picked to finish 14th this season as they only return two of last year’s starters in Brittany Brown and Giulia Simioni.

The Lobos are coming off a 78-41 strong exhibition win over Western New Mexico. The Lobos were led in the scoring column by two freshman Jaisa Nunn and Jannon Otto. Nunn led the squad with 18 points and seven rebounds.
